IF - Intricate

This is my post for Illustration Friday's topic intricate. As butterfly wings have very intricate patterns on them I thought it was very apt for this week.

I haven't posted for quite some time and this black and white drawing I have done of a butterfly isn't finished. I am currently on maternity leave waiting for the arrival of my little girl. As the due date has already past I thought I would get it on here now. Just in case I don't get another chance before next Friday.

I am hoping this drawing will be the beginning of a more complex design for a T-shirt. Eventually with lots of other components and colour.

IF - Fierce

This is an image I created especially for this weeks IF topic.

I used it as an opportunity to experiment a bit with composition. I began by scanning in a quick pencil drawing and then built the picture up by using photoshop. It was quite fun to use the liquify tool to make the expression more aggressive. Growl!!

IF - Primitive

This is a drawing I did some time ago. I thought it was appropriate for this weeks Illustration Friday challenge 'Primitive', ie 'less advanced'.

After a busy year of moving and decorating I have finally got Warp Digital online. It is by no means finished. However if you have any comments then please leave them here!

IF - Discovery

T-Shirt design created for a friends Stag do that took place this weekend in Nottingham.

All the men had their nicknames on the front right-hand side of their polo shirts with the Stag design on the back.
